MYAR FW18

Andrea Rosso is the young designer behind the brand MYAR, first created in 2015. The name is an anagram of the word “army” but also stands for Rosso’s own initials - AR. It all started when the italian designer decided to upcycle military vintage garments, taking his references in soldiers' uniforms and heavy artillery. Inspired by Japanese and Italian dress codes, Andrea Rosso presented his last collection “Bas-Ito” during Paris Fashion Week a few days ago. TALENT MAKING TALENT photographer Matthieu Delbreuve captured its essence, moments before the show.

"I LIKED THE IDEA OF PHOTOGRAPHING MYAR IN PRESENT TIMES THROUGH THE EYES OF AN OLDER GENERATION. I AM DEEPLY INSPIRED BY HISTORICAL IMAGES, INFOGRAPHICS AND ANY OBJECTS WITH A BACKGROUND." as told by Russo to Vogue Italia
